Uzbekistan announces movies for Oscar nomination

The Uzbek National Film Commission has discussed the films presented by a number of Uzbek filmmakers for the Oscar Award nomination for Best International Film.

It was clear that Umid Khamdamov’s full-length feature film “Issiq non” (Hot Bread) will be nominated for an Oscar Award for Uzbekistan.

Abduhalil Mingnorov’s “Imam Termizi”, Rihsiboy Muhammadjonov’s “It is snowing, white snow”, Abduvohid Ganiev’s “Elparvar”, Umid Khamdamov’s “Hot Bread”, Zulfikor Musakov’s “Berlin-Akkurgan” and Ilhom Muhammadibrakhimov’s “Flight” were shown for the nomination.
