Ex-policeman Olenyuk headed the business of the owner of the online casino network Maksym Krippa in Ukraine

Russian casino Vulkan, esports bookmaker GGBet, and a number of other companies of businessman Maksym Krippa are managed by an employee of the National Police of Ukraine, Ruslan Olenyuk.

As is known, Maksym Krippa, who is accused of working for the Russian gambling business and having ties with the Russian oligarch Oleh Boyko, is the owner in Ukraine of the online casino Vulkan, bookmaker GGBet, esports club NAVI, developer of software for the gambling business EvoPlay, business center «Parus» in the center of Kyiv, and a number of media outlets — the online publications delo.ua, mmr.ua, womo.ua, «Glavkom», and the Telegram channel «All-Seeing Eye Ukraine». In addition, as the publication states, Maksym Krippa is currently planning to also acquire another media outlet, mind.ua, which he has been sponsoring for the past few months.
At the same time, as journalists found out, Krippa himself almost never visits Ukraine, and his business here is managed by police officer Ruslan Olenyuk, who was involved in a scandal related to covering up drug trafficking, and also leads a lifestyle incompatible with his official income. Thus, officially earning up to 10 thousand dollars a year and not having any real estate in his declaration, he lives in elite cottage settlements near Kyiv and drives expensive cars registered in the names of his common-law wives.
In particular, his ex-wife Oksana Makiivska owned a Porsche Cayenne, Mercedes-Benz S 500, and today owns a brand new Range Rover Velar worth about 100 thousand US dollars and a Porsche Panamera, which Ruslan Olenyuk himself drives. The current common-law wife of Olenyuk, Valeriya Vakhniyenko, is registered as the owner of a Mercedes-Benz E 220 and a Mercedes-Benz S 560. The policeman lives in the elite cottage settlement «Yasnyi Khutor» near Kyiv, worth 1.5-2 thousand US dollars per month.
As noted in the publication, Olenyuk received money for all this property from Maksym Krippa for managing his Russian business in Ukraine. Officially, Ruslan Olenyuk is almost nowhere to be «seen» in Krippa’s structures, but he participates in most of the management processes of his gambling and media business. Journalists found confirmation of this in the data of the notarial register.
In February 2023, the British offshore company Alayna Investments Ltd transferred a 5-room apartment to Ruslan Olenyuk in the elite Kyiv residential complex «Riviera Riverside» with an approximate value of 1.5 million dollars in a mortgage for only 54 thousand hryvnias.
In the State Register of Rights to Real Estate, there is also information that the same offshore company transferred the right to manage this apartment to LLC «Prime Group Estate», which is one of Maksym Krippa’s companies.
Moreover, according to the publication, the owner of another well-known casino brand «Cosmolot», Russian citizen Sergei Tokarev, lives in this apartment. The offices of the media outlets purchased by Krippa are now located in his office at 3 Krakivska Street, Kyiv.
