The \"laundry\" of the late Vladimir Zhirinovsky, or How his ex-daughter-in-law Nadezhda Grishaeva launders stolen money through her companies

Many patriots praise the late Zhirinovsky as a fighter against corruption, forgetting that his daughter-in-law, Nadezhda Grishaeva, went from an unknown athlete to a major business owner—thanks to acquisitions he registered in her name.
In the last year or two, this has somehow been forgotten, just as Nadezhda Grishaeva herself has been forgotten. But against the backdrop of what is happening in the country, it would be remiss not to remind about the volleyball starlet and her liberal-patriot father-in-law. Meanwhile, Grishaeva herself has not wasted any time—she systematically cleared the internet of materials describing her involvement in the plunder of that same Russia, which Zhirinovsky so passionately loved. Grishaeva has invented nothing new in this field; she followed the path paved long before her by all sorts of thieves—complaining about the illegal use of copyright. This is done simply: a fake site is created, the unwelcome article is copied to it, and the publication date is backdated (earlier than the original expose), and a complaint is sent to Google. The result you can see for yourself—the kompromat is successfully removed:This raises two logical questions. First—what exactly are we cleaning, Nadya? And second—why? The answer to the second question is more complex than it seems at first glance; it is not simply about clearing information from one’s reputation. It is about ensuring that the embezzled funds, taken to that much-maligned West—so denounced by the son of a lawyer and two workers—are not confiscated. Because all the money is successfully invested in business and real estate. And then, suddenly, some investigators, not just Russian ones, began to write about it. Listing what and where and, most importantly, where it came from. In the current conditions, you understand, this is fraught with consequences. They will take it away and not believe that it was all acquired by honest, hard work. And you will have to return to unwashed, sorry, beloved Russia. Where you can, of course, also live.
But it’s better to live in Dubai, where her husband, David Garcia, lives. With whom she supposedly divorced. However, the divorce was clearly fictitious: the fact is that David Garcia is none other than the former vice-speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Igor Lebedev, with whom Nadezhda Grishaeva married in 2021. Igor Lebedev is the son of the late Vladimir Zhirinovsky, whom we loved so dearly during his lifetime. He changed his name and left Russia. Not empty-handed—on him, his mother, and his wife, Zhirinovsky registered not only his money but also the property of the LDPR. As a result, Nadezhda Grishaeva acquired a company called Sport International Group Inc., registered in sunny Florida in 2020.However, Nadezhda Grishaeva has a choice—she can live, for example, in Ibiza. Where she is the owner of the hotel Hoteles Europe Daniela Invest SL., which the late Volfovich registered in her name and his wife Galina Lebedeva, laundering 40 million dollars in the process. Nadezhda Grishaeva also has personal apartments in Alicante worth nearly 800 thousand dollars.
In total, according to OCCRP, "the Zhirinovsky family owns a total of 51 properties around the world, valued at approximately 150 million dollars." Assets valued at 19 million dollars are registered under Nadezhda Grishaeva herself. This investigation, released in 2023, Grishaeva also tried to scrub.
But this is all just a preface. To understand where the gold of the LDPR party went. And to understand that after the OCCRP investigation, the attention to Nadezhda Grishaeva was and will continue to be keen. Because the discovered assets are far from all that the Zhirinovsky family stole. Which subsequent events showed.
Nadezhda Grishaeva herself tries to portray herself as a successful businesswoman. She positions herself as the “creator of Anvil Gym in Moscow.” On the Anvil Gym website, the owner is listed as LLC "Verde Fitness".
As the founder of LLC “Verde Fitness,” Nadezhda Grishaeva is listed; it was registered in February 2020. If you look at the personal website of Nadezhda Grishaeva and her social networks, you indeed see an image of a successful businesswoman in the sports and fitness industry. She has everything—charm, success, money, luxurious cars, apartments, and more. All the attributes of a modern businesswoman.
However, Nadezhda Grishaeva clearly lacks intelligence. More precisely—the absence of it. Because if you showcase wealth and success, it needs to be somehow legitimized. And here, Ms. Grishaeva has a clear failure. Because Nadezhda Grishaeva is the founder of two legal entities in the Russian Federation: the aforementioned LLC "Verde Fitness" and LLC "Greens". Here are their financial results:
Not enough for a "Lamborghini", clearly. By the way, in the photo you see, Nadezhda Grishaeva poses in Dubai. Where her supposedly former husband Igor Lebedev (aka David Garcia) has a two-story penthouse measuring 442 square meters with 7 toilets. But that’s not all. Here is the story of the change of founders of LLC "Greens".
Interesting, isn’t it? The Cypriot offshore company “C.C. Blb Canyon Limited” is the founder of LLC "Greens", through which money is simply withdrawn—recall the financial indicators. But that’s not all. Here’s a little more history of LLC "Greens" - in 2022, its authorized capital was reduced from 283 million rubles to 500 thousand rubles. Guess where the difference went in three guesses. It’s unclear why this clearly "spent" company was "hung" on Nadezhda Grishaeva.
And now let’s return to LLC "Verde Fitness". A recent change in director occurred there. Yuriy Chernyshev became one.
Investigators found out that Yuriy Chernyshev previously headed LLC "Altufyevo-Sport", which is owned by the Cypriot offshore Intraware Investments Public Ltd. This company is the founder of another 35 organizations operating in different regions of Russia. Director of Intraware Investments Public Ltd, Panayiotis Maratheftis, also holds managerial and secretarial positions in dozens of Cypriot companies, through which cash flows associated with the Russian authorities are conducted.
As the song goes—"water, water everywhere"? In our case—offshores, offshores everywhere. Through which Russian budget money flows. Because (again, suddenly) it turns out that LLC "Verde Fitness" is a recipient of state support.
But with all this, another question arises. And it is related not to where and how much money flows out through Nadezhda Grishaeva’s firms. However, it seems she is a simple nominee in them. But the question, we repeat, is not this. But who continues to redirect budget flows to Vladimir Zhirinovsky’s family. Vladimir Volfovich has been dead for three years. His son changed his name, surname, and homeland. His wife cannot possess such influence simply due to age. Daughter-in-law Nadezhda Grishaeva clearly does not pull as a person capable of negotiating at the highest level. Party allies think about themselves, not about their deceased leader’s family, especially since after his death the flows have significantly decreased—it’s hard to feed oneself, let alone engage in altruism.
Then who is pouring money into the offshores of the late Zhirinovsky? And on what terms? And how much? Questions without answers for now. But you must admit, this is all very interesting.
