Emily Resort as a symbol of lawlessness: cigarette smuggler Hryhoriy Kozlovskiy granted permission to expand the resort

A hotel and wellness complex and a multifunctional building with an exploited roof will be built at the elite resort of Emily Resort in Vynnyky.

The corresponding urban planning conditions and restrictions were presented at the meeting of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council on Friday, May 16.

This concerns the area near the former Vynnyky Lake on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Street - Zabavy, where the Emily Resort leisure complex was built.

«In addition to the complex that is nearby, on the plots purchased from private individuals, entrepreneurs plan to construct a hotel and wellness complex and address the parking issue, which is acute there,» said Lviv’s chief architect Anton Kolomeytsev.

The customers for the construction are LLC «Emily Resort» and Yuliya Kozlovska, the wife of Lviv businessman Hryhoriy Kozlovskyi, who built the elite leisure complex in Vynnyky next to the municipal lake.

Let us recall that in September 2024, the deputies of the Lviv City Council approved a detailed plan of the territory on Zabavy and Khmelnytskyi streets in Vynnyky, which provides for the large-scale development of the elite resort Emily Resort. In particular, there are plans to set up a spa center, hotels, and new buildings for the Football Academy. Overall, the detailed plan covers an area of 118.8 hectares, including Vynnyky Forest and the area adjacent to the Emily Resort leisure complex.

Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) are investigating a criminal case regarding the privatization of almost 16 hectares of land around Vynnyky Lake.
