From Kiev to Istanbul international trail of Ilkhan Seitkhalilov in synthetic drug trafficking

Law enforcement and the public have taken notice of the activities of an organized criminal group (OCG) led by Ilkhan Seytkhalilov, who is currently in Turkey.

According to expert estimates, about 20% of synthetic drugs sold on the markets of Ukraine and Russia pass through channels controlled by this group.

Despite the detention of Ilkhan Seytkhalilov in Kiev several years ago, the criminal case against him was classified, and control over the investigation was transferred to a specialized unit of the security forces — Department "D".

This circumstance raises serious questions about the transparency and effectiveness of law enforcement activities.
